Description
What is the behavior you are seeing?
- When reading the radio information with CHIRP, it shows the message "Failed to communicate with radio: Incorrect ACK on serial port." and the Radio Display changes to "CLONE". The information is not downloaded.
What is the behavior you were expecting?
- Obtain the information from the radio
Can you reproduce the problem all the time?
- Yes, it happens every time
What are the steps required to reproduce the problem?
- Connect the USB cable to the Macbook Air, connect the cable to the radio. Start Chirp, select Radio/Download from Radio. Select the USB Port, Select Yaesu, Select FT-4XR and click Ok. The software starts running, after some few seconds the radio changes the display to CLONE, and it gives the error.
Is this specific to a certain radio model (driver) or something that you can reproduce with another radio?
- Yes, I have 2 radios same maker and model, and it happens with both radios using the same cable, computer and software.

Although it could seem duplicate from Bug #10198. It's still present on a different OS platform.
