I am connecting the radio to the latest version of Chirp (plus).
I did install the driver from a disk that came with a new Wouxun programming cable USB-K1
The computer has Windows 10 updated to 11
(Describe what you expected to happen)
Chirp download from the radio so I can make modications and then upload saved changes back to the radio
(Describe what actually happened instead)
After following the step-by-step instructions, I click "download from radio" the box opens, has the correct USB port identified and the correct radio brand and model. I click "OKAY" and in about 5 seconds I get a message: "Error communicating with radio, radio did not respond"
I have read through numerous previous issues on your website, I have tried loading Chirp on my other computers and the same issue keeps occuring. I have two brand new Baofeng UV-5R radios and the same problem continues to occur with both.
I really need a resolution and appreciate hearing back on how to fix this or what it is I am doing wrong.
