I came across this article "Adjusting the internal Squelch Levels" - https://www.miklor.com/COM/UV_Squelch.php

From my personal experience I found that the preset squelch levels of the BaoFeng UV-13 PRO V2 are far from optimized. Very similar to the issue described in the above article.
Specifically the lowest level squelch (1) which is not 0 (no squelch) is too insensitive and blocking a weak signal that I am interested in.

Anyone who will take the challenge and add the option to tweak the internal Squelch Levels will have my endless gratitude :-)

Possibly similar models could benefit from this.
