Description

I have attempted to connect to the GMRS-V2 with 3 different computers. I have checked to assure that the driver for the programming cable is the latest. I have a fairly good grasp on computer operations.
I have tried the following computers;
1 HP Desktop Windows 11 Pro 64 bit, 64 GB RAM, Intel i7 Skylake Processor
1 Dell Laptop, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, 16 GB Ram,
1 Home built with AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 64 GB Ram

CHIRP is net receiving any data from the radio. You don't have a working connection between your radio and the computer. For example if you don't put the plug into the radio at all and attempt a download, the resulting debug.log file will be the same.

I suspect that the 2-pin plug is not fully inserted into the socket. This is a common problem. The smooth metal pins of the plug can stick on the smooth metal rings of the socket giving you the feeling that the plug is in solid when it still has a very tiny distance yet to go. Wiggle the plug an press above the smaller (2.5mm) pin to see if you can get it to snap in the rest of the way.
