Bug #10758
closedUV-5R "Radio did not respond"
0%
Description
Was using chirp and adding some frequency, uploaded the .iso and all worked.
After detaching and attaching the radio i tryed to upload the same .iso modified and appeared the error, checking some settings i found that wrongly i have changed the lower limit of the vhf and uhf band.
Tryed the factory reset and the vhf and "reset all", but nothing changed. Any help?

If it was working and now you get a "Radio did not respond" error message, this would typically indicate that there is a programming cable issue. Usually an incompatible device driver (cause by Windows updating/changing it) or and incomplete connection between the plug and the radio.

Yeah but I didn't make any update, and the cable worked 2 minutes before. Should I buy another cable?

Solved: Okay i found the problem, the problem is that the cable was not doing contact, so i need to press the cable with my finger in the radio, to make a better contact and it worked.

This is a common problem with these low cost radios and programming cable. It is good to see that you have it worked out. Thank you for the follow up report.
