Description
I get the new model Boafeng UV-S22 Pro V2, but for this model I couldn't find Software when I open CHIRP. I also want to know if there is an extra data cable (with skrews to add) to connect the Boafeng with a Windows PC, or if I can/must use the USB-C cable?
Can I use another version for a model which is shown in the CHIRP List? Or did I have to wait for a new version of CHIRP which includes my model?
I installed the Boafeng USB Driver and the latest version of CHIRP, but it doesn't show my Boafeng or it doesn't connect.
If I use my Boafeng UV-9R it shows directly this machine. No problems.
I hope someone can help me or has any idea or tricks.
In the screenshots you see what happens if I connect the Boafeng UV-S22 Pro V2 to my windows PC...
NOTHING. It doesn't find a port and even the right model.

Found out today that the UV-9R seems to work as it should on my UV-S22 pro, using Chirp next-20230421

As in, you think this radio is an identical clone? If so, we can add an alias to the website for future users.
